Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince

So I just got back from watching the new Harry Potter. As always I am torn because I'm a true die-hard HP fan and would like to see every word and scene from the book translated into the movie. I know however that it is impossible, and from that point of view I LOVED the movie. Even little annoying Daniel managed to be hilarious at times. Ron, ah Ron. I would give some kind of Oscar to Ron. That kid/hotie can act! I would seriously have a crush on him if I was ten years younger.
I loved the Death Eaters from the very beginning of the movie, and seeing how it started I tried adjusting to the fact that it's very obviously going to be lots of new stuff in and old stuff out. Mood is set good and I'm actually glad they didn't spend too much time on the fist quarter of the book. What doesn't make sense to me is why they didn't show all the memories, it is such a crucial part of the book and to understanding the seventh one. You just can't understand Voldemort without them.
Another huge downer was the ending. Tell me you didn't just totally change the battle and how it all happened!?!? Oh you did. So you can have the epic end battle in the seventh movie. BS. I was left totally untouched by Dumbledore's death. I did not like how it made Harry look either. Anyone who read the books just knows that it wouldn't play out like that. He would go to help no matter what he was told.

I am exhausted so tomorrow when I read this it might not make to much sense and probably will have no proper beginning or end, but I just needed to write it now. Out of five stars I give it four. Out of all the HP movies I give it six! :o)
All in all, thumbs up.
