So yeah, I was naive to think I could use this blog thing as sort of my diary. As I said a few posts before, I don't do diary's. Never did, and never will.
I guess I got to the point where I need company. I want readers and I want comments. Even though I fully expect to have a handful of readers, at least I can get some feedback. What is the purpose of everything if when I write something sad or funny, there is no one to smile back or give me a big good old virtual hug!?
Therefore the "remodeling" of this page. I started designing something myself, and I just didn't like it...so I finally just went and found this cool template that I played with for hours until I got it almost how I want it. I wonder how many more remodels there will be!
This is my plan. I will write about whatever I want, I plan to use first names unless someone I mention is bothered by it. I am going to be posting family pictures as well as pictures of my cooking. Yes, there will be recipes. Some my own, some from other foodie blogger and some from cookbooks. I am doing this for myself and for my family so there will be a great mix of everything here, and hopefully comments! This past two months have been one lonely blogging period. I am done with that.
Tomorrow I bring you my first recipe I found on one of my new favorite blogs Joy The Baker. It is a cake! And it's made from strawberries!
