Look what I got! Weeee me! My very own custom made Converse sneakers. I am so cool. :D
I tried really hard to make them as happy/hysterical/80's as I could. The green zebra pattern was a direct inspiration from my Rock Barbie's 80's tights. I LOVE them. There is only one small problem. Well actually you would say it's a big problem. They are a full size too big. My feet grew in pregnancy a full size, from 10 to 11. I KNOW!! Anyway, I figured if I was having them custom made, I might as well finally have a shoe that fits me...just to find out that my feet decided to go back to 10 in the last three weeks. Pathetic.
My feet look like boats in them:
I made another design on Converse website. This second ones are very not crazy though. Actually, I tried to make as close replica as I could of my favorite running shoes I had until four years ago. I got them in 2001 I think, they were leather, red with the converse star sign in white. I climbed a Hawaii volcano in them, the bottoms actually melted half way on them! I was so sad when I finally had to get rid of them. And believe me, I waited longer then almost anyone would before I actually did throw them. Anyway, my parents are going to buy me those as my late birthday present. The ones I got were Chris's birthday present. I will remember my 29th for getting wasted and Converse shoes! :o)
Here is a detail picture:
And one last one of my new shoesies tippy-toeing:
Now if you will excuse me, I have to go finish watching one of the worst movies ever. Twilight. So why, oh why do I have to watch it over and over again?! It is hard to believe that Robert Pattison and Kirsten Stewart acted as bad as they did. Shame. I guess I watch it for Carlisle.
