I am so happy that I have nothing negative to write about today! What a nice day it's been so far...
All three of us slept in til noon. I can hardly believe it. I can't even describe the feeling of waking up between my two favorite people in the world. One still breathing deeply and peacefully asleep, the other looking at me with huge loving eyes, his mouth widened in a big smile saying he is ready to start another day. We took our time getting up, a very rare luxury, and I made us breakfast sandwiches while hubby watched our Mogwai. His newest nickname is Buddha, he is so chubby!
Now we are watching the Mythbusters on Discovery while I surf the net and hubby does some of his homework. Mogwai is sleeping after he got fed banana, carrot and apple mush in his new high chair. His Uncle Nikola got him that! I think he feels special in it, he is the boss of his own table and chair, it makes him feel big hehe. I am realizing that he is such a good baby. I complain a lot because life just hit us in the head without warning from all sides all of a sudden, and everything has been harder, but when I stop to think, he is a good one. He could have been such a more demanding baby, but he just wants to be fed, changed and given love and attention. He sleeps until we want to as long as he is next to me and I feed him on demand. But hey, are we all not the same like that?
I think we will be OK. We will be better than that, we will be fawesome, we just need time and some luck to get out of this mess.
I wish a thunderstorm came through soon, that would make this day perfect. Comforting.
We will go to the store now to get some things we desperately need, and then to Blockbuster to try and rent "Caprica". I miss Battlestar Galactica! Whatever was going on, me and hubby were always able to sit down on couch and tune it all out while watching that show. Well I am anxious to see what this Caprica will be like, will it be worth watching... I think I might even cook something today. Past five days were marked by toasts, hot pockets and lean cuisines. I crave a soup or something!
